Welcome to distorted breed...

Distored BreedDistorted Breed is the new band fronted by Jim Distortion - a red-hot phoenix raised from the ashes of FUTILE GESTURE and PERFECT DISTORTION by their inimitable main man, lead vocalist and writer. Shunning the industrial and techno noize that created Perfect Distortion’s sonic backdrop, the new incarnation is down and dirty, bassy and basic with the emphasis on balls-out rock ’n’ roll and Jim’s unmistakeably leonine, yet singularly melodic roar.

‘This is the uncompromising, no-nonsense dirt rock outfit I’ve wanted all my musical life,’ says Jim. ‘And the unique sound owes a lot to Neale Dunham’s inimitable guitar!’

Neale and Jim wrote the first songs and made the band a reality but sadly Neale could not commit to the band due to other commitments!

“I met Roxy at the door of the Square, Harlow while playing a gig” says Jim “and he bought a cd, little did I know he would come and audition for the band and have learned and played the songs note for note perfectly, but more importantly with the right feeling the music needs! Needless to say I hired him straight away and am continually glad that I did!”

With the live band back in the saddle and a Tour in the New Year to introduce the north of England to the Dirt Rock Revellers the future is rock and roll, dirty and perfectly primed for massive growth!

With mad young Ben who has done far too much in his young life, like touring with Iron Maiden in his teens playing the drums and The Hippy Alex playing bass these four musicians are gonna shake up the rock world and make their own luck!

Jim Distortion is known for making what he wants to happen, happen! With the right people in place around the band and his own radio show to add to the chaos the tattooed singer and his motley crue have nothing to stop them achieving the goals they choose. Playing partying and creating mayhem are all the targets any rock band needs, and Distorted Breed are no different!
